I am a mother. I am passionate. I am the ever-eager learner. I am a wife. I am loyal. I am driven. I am a photographer... and not in that particular order. I included photographer in the "I am" list because photography is more of who I am rather than what I do. My connection to clients runs deeper than snapping shots of momentous occasions, but rather capturing the occasions that are momentous. In the midst of a "momentous Occasion" we may sometimes miss the occasions that are momentous... my passion is to find those moments and document them frozen in time.
I love the details that are often overlooked, the space between the empty, and the words that are not said. Yes, I am the photographer who will end up crying as you recite your vows and laughing as you joyously depart for your honeymoon. I've always felt the need to connect with my clients on a personal level to capture photos that relive the emotion of that singular moment, with the personalities that are spontaneously original and completely unplanned. My gift is capturing the moments that will eventually be momentous... because photographer is part of who I am and not what I do.
